Spring Break Fitness Camp

Today and Friday from 8 - Noon we are offering a Spring Break Fitness Camp for kids. We are working with Overtime Athletics in providing fun filled fitness activities and games to promote fitness and exercise.

It was great to watch the first day of camp and see the kids run, jump rope, learn the food pyramid chart, and play relay games incorporating a variety of sports. The sounds of laughter and enthusiasm was a blessing.

Creating a culture of exercise is difficult with adults. But with kids and all that our electronic crazed world offers, is even more difficult. This camp was a first step for us in making intentional strides to help our kids get out and play games, exercise, and learn the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.
